About the Boss
Gene Amason II is a professional problem solver who has long dedicated his skills to supporting churches and ministry organizations. As the son of a preacher man, he has been actively involved most of his life in working in ministry with his parents both in their local church and other organizations. Gene literally transitioned into church leadership with an insider's understanding of the difficulties involved in ministry administration and media, his passions. While in college, he sub-contracted his church’s building program from start to finish – successfully completing the project and saving the church hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process. After years of advanced university studies and continued service with various ministries and churches, Gene put his skills to work by founding Ministry Solutions, Inc.
Over the years, Gene has worked with and advised scores of local churches and national organizations, including Benny Hinn Ministries, Dr. Mark Chironna, The Power Team, and the many others. He has also worked with numerous small to medium sized businesses and even Monty Williams, Head Coach of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns.
In addition to managing and operating the company, Gene is the Senior Pastor of Church Alive in Magee, MS and President of WSMP Radio Inc (Renew 96.9), a local FM radio station in Magee. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and his Master’s of Business Administration from William Carey University. He completed additional studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science, a world class center for teaching and research in the social, political and economic sciences located in England. He recently completed his Ph.D. in ministry as well.
In 2007, Gene became the proud husband of the beautiful and talented Regina Gates, a psychometrist. Gene and Regina have a son, Cash, and a daughter, Audrey. In addition to spending time with his family, Gene enjoys college football, drumming and fitness.
